Surprise. Admittedly, it's less surprising if you follow either of us on Twitter, since Dan mentioned drawing a second guest strip several times, but still. This time, Dan actually read Gatsby, or at least a few chunks of it. I liked the idea of having the guest week book-ended by the two Gatsby strips. Maybe I'm just a sucker for symmetry. In any event, with this strip, Dan is officially number one of my list of people that should continue to draw Lit Brick if I get hit by a bus.
And yes, I squeal like a little girl whenever a good artist draws my characters. It happens rather infrequently, but it's always fills me with glee. For instance, Dan's version of Molly is totally bangin'.

Lit Brick is a comic started by Jodie Troutman in an effort to read the entire Norton Anthology of English Literature. Having eventually succeeded in that goal, it now features comics about all manner of random literature. And yeah, they're all pretty dumb.
