Chapter: English Literature in the Sixteenth Century
You know who I hate more than Thomas More? Nathaniel Hawthorne.
Alright, you probably want more detail than that. Fine. The Norton excerpts part of More's history of Richard III, and it's exceedingly strange: basically, they just pulled out two pages that describe, at length, one of Richard's mistresses. That's it. Richard's not even in it. The entire excerpt is devoted to this woman and how hot she was.
Lit Brick is a comic started by Jodie Troutman in an effort to read the entire Norton Anthology of English Literature. Having eventually succeeded in that goal, it now features comics about all manner of random literature. For more of Jodie's work, visit troutcave.net!
