The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin

Publication Date: November 15th, 2020

Chapter: American Literature, Beginnings to 1820

Ben Franklin, who is conveniently alive in this comic strip but was inconveniently dead when his Autobiography was being published, would've indeed been furious at the bastardization of his works by Willy Franklin Jr., his grandson. The text in English was edited and mangled, and it was missing the fourth of four parts entirely because Willy was a dunce. Luckily, these errors were rectified by scholars many, many, many years later.
