A Gest of Robyn Hode (2)
Publication Date: March 8, 2018
Chapter: English Literature During The Middle Ages
"A Lyttell Geste of Robyn Hode" is one of the oldest surviving tales of Robin Hood, thought to have been originally written sometime around 1450. It's got a lot of the old classics already in place: Merry Men, robbing from the rich, archery contests, etc. It does, however, get pretty weird.
