Puss In Boots (1)
Publication Date: June 05, 2017
Chapter: Children's Literature
It's fairy tale time! Here's Puss In Boots, or The Master Cat, or The Booted Cat, or Le Maitre Chat out le Chat Botte. Though the character and story appears to originate in recorded history from the Italian author Giovanni Frencesco Straparola, it was popularized by the French fairy tale magnate Charles Perrault.
It's the heartwarming tale of an inexplicably talkative cat that puts on some fancy footware, then murders other animals and becomes a con artist. Magical, I know.
