A Visit From St. Nicholas
Publication Date: December 24, 2014
Chapter: Yuletide Jamboree
I found some free time on Christmas Eve, so I thought I’d crank out a present for you fine people! I’ll assume that my readership was 100% “nice” this year.
This little treat is a take on the famous “A Visit By St. Nicholas,” written in 1823 by Clement Clarke Moore (probably). It helped codify the modern character we know as Santa Claus today. L. Frank Baum and Coca-Cola would take care of the rest.
Fun Fact: Moore was a good friend of Washington Irving, so we can safely assume that Santa Claus lives in a shared universe with Sleepy Hollow.
