The Blazing World (13 of 13)
Publication Date: August 23, 2011
Chapter: English Literature in the Early Seventeenth Century
This strip sets up a rather interesting situation: in the third panel, Molly promises to fulfill her duty as Nicholle's scribe by recording the adventure. This leaves us with one question: did this adventure in the Blazing World actually happen, or is Molly just making it up? Food for thought. It sets an interesting precedent, in any event: Molly could have drawn, or will draw in the future, completely insane things that really happened (but that no one would ever believe).
Honestly, Nicki being kidnapped and taken to the Blazing World isn't all that farfetched in a universe that already has a tiny plastic superhero and a cheesecake goddess.
