Ah, recycled artwork. Totally classic Lit Brick.

Anyway, from what I can gather - and as you can see from the quotation on that Wikipedia page - euphuism is the art of sounding like a total douchebag. That's really all I've got to say about that.

I can talk about the strip a little, though. It's actually a bit odd. After I wrote it, I wasn't sure how I felt about it. It just seems like Deirdre's sorta getting a little too "Felicity." Honestly, if Molly only just figured out that her best friend was a gay a couple months ago, then I doubt Deirdre is usually this over-the-top. Then again, maybe Deirdre's just been playing it up more now that she's been outed. In any event, I doubt I'll write her quite so lusty in the future.

Not that lusty is a bad thing, mind you.
