A Coat

Publication Date: June 27, 2016

Chapter: The Twentieth Century

Sorry for disappearing for a while. Haven't been in the best headspace, but the less said about that, the better.

Now, what to say about Yeats. Most scholars will tell you he was the greatest poet of the 20th Century, possibly ever. I GUESS HE'S OKAY. This is a poem about his metaphorical coat, and how other poets stole it. C'mon, Tumblr kiddies, you know the drill. OC PLEASE DON'T STEAL.

Author: William Butler Yeats • Year: 1914 • Info: Poetry Foundation
