Chapter: English Literature During The Romantic Period

One thing I didn't mention about Manfred yesterday is that he's a total creeper. Initially, he can't actually see any of the elemental spirits he summoned, so he demand that they take human form. The seventh spirit shows up as a beautiful woman, so Manfred's immediate response is to rush over and try to grope her. Happily, Manfred flies right through her and faceplants into the floor, cursing the gods.
