Look, Lord Byron was a scumbag. He just was. He had sex with hundreds of women; Byron himself estimated that he'd slept with at least 200 different women between 1817 and 1819 alone. The number of his illegitimate children is incalculable. His most prominent relationship was rumored to be with his half-sister, who reportedly bore him one of said illegitimate children.

As I said, he was a scumbag. But hey, at least we got Ada Lovelace out of the deal.
