The Great Gatsby (2 of 2)
Publication Date: October 28, 2011
Substitute Teachers
Surprise. Admittedly, it's less surprising if you follow either of us on Twitter, since Dan mentioned drawing a second guest strip several times, but still. This time, Dan actually read Gatsby, or at least a few chunks of it. I liked the idea of having the guest week book-ended by the two Gatsby strips. Maybe I'm just a sucker for symmetry. In any event, with this strip, Dan is officially number one of my list of people that should continue to draw Lit Brick if I get hit by a bus.
And yes, I squeal like a little girl whenever a good artist draws my characters. It happens rather infrequently, but it's always fills me with glee. For instance, Dan's version of Molly is totally bangin'.
