The Hunting of the Snark

Publication Date: August 7, 2010

Chapter: Random Literature

A nerd I must be to attempt such a jape
as combining both Carroll and Holmes.
Still worse is my attempt to continue to ape
the style of Carroll's fine poems.

When given the task to draw 'bout the snark
I gave it my heartiest try
For when someone slips me ten for the lark
I must be a most honorable guy.

Alright, fine, I'll admit, this poem kind of blows.
I just thought it'd be good for a laugh
But when the next comic comes, I may step on your toes
For I'll be daring to ridicule Lovecraft.
