Daniel Defoe

Publication Date: October 31, 2011

Chapter: English Literature During The Restoration And The Eighteenth Century

Daniel Defoe was rather notorious for his flip-flopping. When the party he was serving would lose, he'd almost instantly side with the victor. Everyone was apparently okay with this, as apparently Defoe was a pretty likable guy, despite being kind of a douchebag.

Also, I'm just going to assume that this comic accurately depicts British politics, even to this day.

About The Comic

Lit Brick is a comic started by Jodie Troutman in an effort to read the entire Norton Anthology of English Literature. Having eventually succeeded in that goal, it now features comics about all manner of random literature. And yeah, they're all pretty dumb.
