The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle (5 of 5)

So, I learned a valuable lesson myself yesterday: if I wanna generate lots of comments, I just need to be an idiot.  To be fair, I was kinda asking for it.  That strip was written at the last possible second, with me just fitting words into the copy and pasted panels on the computer.  It was not what I originally had in mind.  Sadly, what I originally had in mind would’ve required more artwork that I had time to draw, so my tight deadline forced the “beer” strip into being.

‘Course, it’s still kinda funny, even if everyone thinks I’m a moron for its content.

Today’s strip had no such time restrictions.  I’m still ridiculously busy over here, but I carved out the hours necessary to draw more than one panel of fresh artwork.  The extra effort seems to have helped a lot, since I love this strip.  I’m not quite sure why, but I do.  Maybe it’s the early-20th century American newsboy showing up in 1892 London for no apparent reason.
