20,000 Leagues Under The Sea

Got a whale of a tale to tell ya lads, a whale of a tale or two!  ’Bout the flapping fish and the girls I’ve loved, on nights like this with the moon above!  A whale of a tale and it’s all true, I swear by my tattoo!*

*Disclaimer: I don’t actually have a tattoo.*

*Disclaimer to the disclaimer: That said, wouldn’t it be awesome if Jeph Jacques sang this song?

The only thing better than the mexican hat dance would have been that annoying fight music from Final Fantasy (any of them really)

I know I’m excrutiatingly late to comment on this (still catching up the archives), but I’m so happy you did this! Would’ve been my commission if I had lived in that time when commissions were made.

But really, my main fascination with that book is how *unbelievably* nerdy and enumeratie Verne gets. Every. Single. Chapter.

Also Conseil is clearly autistic. Really.

It’s never too late! I’m notified about every new comment, no matter how ancient, and I always appreciate them.

That guy is so delightfully Canadian! I bet the other end of his harpoon is a hockey stick.

Haha, in the book, Ned Land is constantly referred to as “The Canadian.” Cracks me up.

I actually finally thought of a book I’d like you to do a comic on! Oh dear.

I’m gonna have to listen to the whole Mexican Hat Dance. None of the bits in my head fit with the melody there.

It’s not strictly accurate. I just sort of matched the number of notes with my comicy music font.
