The crew starts turning on the Ancient Mariner, pinning all the blame for their fate on him, and not - as you might imagine - on poor weather conditions. They say that the albatross must hang around the mariner's neck. I'm fairly certain this was supposed to be a metaphorical albatross, but eh.
