There's a reason I saved this story for the last week. The presence of Santa clearly makes this the most "Christmasy" of my holiday tales.
The daemons you met yesterday, before kidnapping our right jolly old elf, first try to trick him into giving up the toy biz. Each daemon entices Claus with their own particular specialty, trying to appeal to his envious \ selfish \ etc. nature. Santa laughs them all off, as his kind heart refuses to give in to the daemons' evil ways. After getting dissed four times by Claus, they decide to just say "screw it" and kidnap Lunchbox while he's flying off in his sled.
