It’s hard to explain why, but I love that second panel so much.
And in response to yesterday’s comments: the pony has no official name. You can keep having fun with the brainstorming.

Kickapoo?
*snickers* Love it!
For some crazy reason, I never made the connection between the talking horses in Gulliver’s Travels and My Little Pony when I was in High school. Pity; that would have made an awesome presentation. ^^
“Yahoo?”
“No! Blah blah blah!”
“I am disappoint.” *KICK*
Poor Nicholle. What Kickhappy was looking for was a sign of intelligence, not jibber-jabber and vanity about a piece of anatomy she has no interest in. ^^;
Incidentally, it’s nice to see another reference to the televised version of Gulliver’s Travels: The Houyn – hunna – the intelligent equines in that series did not speak the human tongue so fluently, either; they were more into word bursts. Makes sense, too: Humans and equines have different mouth and jaw shapes.
If horses had to choose a human-language name for themselves, I think they’d go with the German Pferd.
I can totally imagine a horse making that noise.
Good call. ^^
I shall now call that pony Thwakk, since that’s what it seems to do best.
And here is to hoping that the tag ‘pony’ will get you a buckload of hits!
that is so wrong, it goes all the way round to right again…giggles
What my brain filled in for panel 1 before it read the actual words:
“Yahoo?”
“What? No! That’s a horrible search engine! I use Google, like a normal person.”
