I decided it was time for some more “Meanwhile in America…” since I could use a change of pace.  We return, then, to the Native Americans, since their mythology is really, really weird, and therefore kinda fun to draw.  The American Norton has a broad selection of tales from several different tribes from across the Americas.  The section I’m on now focuses particularly on the “Trickster,” a recurring figure in most native traditions who comes in many forms and generally causes mischief (while simultaneously helping the young human race advance).

Also, that last panel isn’t a joke: the Trickster in Canada really was represented by the Wolverine.  It was seriously too perfect.
